About Precision

The Precision BioSciences mission is to utilize our revolutionary engineered endonucleases to become the world leader in the field of Genomic Molecular Biology.

To meet this goal, Precision is broadly applying its DNE technology to genetic challenges requiring a high degree of precision such as genome engineering and gene therapy.

Precision‘s technology was first developed in the Biochemistry Department at the Duke University Medical Center.  The technology and related patent applications have since been exclusively licensed to Precision BioSciences for all fields of use.

Precision was founded in 2005 and is located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
